Hasco Reveals Fakuma 2023 Plans
Hasco will highlight new 3D-printed hot runner components, digital products, mold tracking, mold components and more at the show.
Hasco’s participation in Fakuma 2023 (Oct. 17-21; Friedrichshafen, Germany) will take place under the theme of “digitalization meets standardization”. Building off its introduction of 3D-printed hot runner manifolds, the company will present a number of new 3D-printed hot runner components. Dubbed Shadowfree, Hasco says this technology eliminates visible “spider” lines that can occur with needle-valve systems, while also enabling up to 40% faster color changes in the hot runner.
Additions have also been made to the Single Shot portfolio, including hardened nozzle tips and one-hole and Hot Tip torpedoes, which Hasco says increase possible applications for the nozzle range. In addition, it will feature plug inserts for faster, space-saving wiring of power/signal plugs to the mold, as well as control technology that can simplify hot runner control.
On the digital front, Hasco will unveil user-friendly tools on its web homepage, a new Hasco app and CAD updates. Hasco will highlight its Mold Track System, which it calls an intelligent solution to track a mold’s location in real time, as well as digitally interlinking processes.
The further development of Hasco’s plate range offers moldmakers maximum flexibility with a portfolio of undrilled and drilled plates that’s been extended with new mold sizes and thicknesses with more than 1500 new dimensions.
In demolding, further sizes have been added to the ejector portfolio, with a focus on the use of quality high-speed steel (HSS), granting the components higher temperature resistance and strength. Those qualities extend service life and reduce mold maintenance costs. Also featured will be the new guide pillars, promising easier installation, and chemical working substances with NSF certification that require less application because of greater efficacy and a more environmentally friendly footprint because of the all-synthetic content.
Hasco will highlight a variety of new offerings at Fakuma 2023.
