Foster Adds Specialty TPU and TPU Alloy Products to its Arsenal of Healthcare Materials
AdvanSource Biomaterials’ specialty TPU materials are used in application segments such as cardiology, orthopedics, drug delivery, endoscopy, wound care, urology, and neurology.
Foster Corp.’s distribution business has been appointed as the marketing partner for AdvanSource Biomaterials, a group company of Mitsubishi Chemical. As such, Foster Distribution has added specialty TPUs and TPU alloys to its arsenal of materials for the healthcare market. Foster’s role will entail application development, sales, and technical support, of these AdvanSource materials in the North American healthcare market from its U.S. locations in Connecticut and Nevada.
AdvanSource Biomaterials has developed, and offers for sale, an impressive line of TPU products for implantable and non-implantable healthcare applications. Their TPU technologies include aliphatic PC, aromatic PC, aromatic polyether, aliphatic ether, hydrophilic, as well as PC silicone elastomers and soft aromatic TPU alloys. Healthcare application segments include cardiology, orthopedics, drug delivery, endoscopy, wound care, urology, and neurology among others.
