KraussMaffei Unifies All Its Brands
Netstal and Berstorff are now KraussMaffei.
KraussMaffei in Germany is consolidating all its business divisions—injection molding, extrusion and reaction process technology—and its previous brands—KraussMaffei, KraussMaffei Berstorff and Netstal—within a single unified brand: KraussMaffei. Netstal will remain as a product brand within KM’s Injection Molding Machinery segment, though the sales organization is being consolidated by regions, “so that each customer will have only one contact, who will provide comprehensive support” for injection machinery. The Swiss subsidiary Netstal-Maschinen AG will be known as KraussMaffei High Performance AG.
Meanwhile, the former KraussMaffei Berstorff extrusion/compounding machinery will be known as KraussMaffei. The German subsidiary KraussMaffei Berstorff GmbH will now be known as KraussMaffei Extrusion GmbH.
A new corporate design reflecting these changes will be rolled out at the K 2019 show in Dusseldorf in October. (Look for our show news preview in September.)
